This series of practical art books will encourage children to develop their artistic skills - including painting, drawing, printing, and collage - and build their confidence as they learn. Following on from" Painting",this book uses the work of artists past and present alongside close-up step-by-step instruction of techniques and projects to show young artists how they can use them as a source of ideas as well as inspiration for developing their own creative instincts. Each spread has a different theme - from working with colour, using and making marks with a wide variety of drawing materials, felt tips and pastels, for example, to sketching out of doors or creating a comic strip.
