The Bedford Triangle: US Undercover Operations from England in World War Two

This is a graphic portrayal of the crucial part played by aircraft and personnel of the US Army Air Force (USAAF), American Office of Strategic Services (OSS) and British Special Operations Executive (SOE) operations behind enemy lines in occupied Europe during World War 2. These covert operations were centered on airfields and safe houses in and around the English town of Bedford, and involved the movement of materials and resistance personnel, undercover and in secrecy. Martin Bowman draws upon dozens of revealing first-hand accounts, together with official documentary evidence, to provide tantalizing glimpses of these cloak and dagger operations.
