RIVERS AND SEAS looks at how water moves and how it shapes the land. Simple fun projects illustrate how the water cycle works, what happens when a river flows round corners and how the pounding of the sea shapes our coast. Readers are encouraged to build their own stalactites and stalagmites, plot the course of a long river and examine how water can produce power.
