The AA spiral guides aim to provide comprehensive coverage of the destination. Each one provides recommended eating and drinking places and "must-see" sites from expert travel writers. The street plan sections contain a full street index, and are colour-coded for quick and easy use. Among the special features, these guides include: a locator map, providing a colour-coded overview of the top attractions; "The Magazine", which provides background information to the area; "Finding your Feet" which includes details for starting out, from airport information to shops; and zone-by-zone chapters, where each destination is split into geographical zones and includes a zone map and keys to the sights.
