Physics for Scientists and Engineers: Chapters 1-21

This edition of the standard text for introductory physics courses taken by science and engineering students has been extensively revised, with new artwork and updated examples. A wide range of innovative pedagogical features have also been added. Twentieth century developments such as quantum mechanics are introduced early on, so that students can appreciate their importance and see how they fit into the bigger picture.
