Love or fame . . . Which would you choose? Eddie has left home, her boyfriend, Kai, and a blooming career as a concert pianist for the heavier kind. She and her guitar find an all female metal band, where band leader, Gretchen, and Eddie, immediately butt heads, but the need for each other exceeds their animosity. After meeting British Rock God, Slade Mc Allister, in a recording studio, Eddie is torn between the rocker bad boy who understands her musically and her med school boyfriend she left back home who loves her, but despises her musical direction of choice. Producers, managers, reality stars, all claw away at each other trying to get a piece of this band as the scenarios culminate into cat fights, deception, sabotage and photo shoots. Can four talented, she-cats keep it together long enough to get one of the biggest labels in the music industry to sign them, or will the entire project implode on itself?
