It was taken to China centuries later and eventually hidden to protect its precious contents from those who persecuted the Christian faith. The Lotus Cross would remain lost for over a thousand years until the manuscript discovery.
In an age of advanced scientific techniques, the blood-flecked pouch within the Lotus Cross could yield the key to the second coming of Christ.
