Songs with Character was developed by school counselor Lindsey Zabelski. Character education has always been at the forefront of Lindsey s program, but she knew that she could present character education in a more appealing and meaningful way to her students. With this in mind she decided to put her lessons to music. She composed her own music and went classroom to classroom playing the songs for her students. Since then Songs with Character has blossomed into an integral part of the school s character education program.
