Frozen Stare

Jack Grant is a Vietnam vet turned private eye in Los Angeles, who spends his days quietly tracking fraudulent insurance claims and small-time grifters. When he agrees to meet a potential client at the L. A. Market, he finds him dead—floating in a tub of ice. The next victim is found hanging in a downtown meat freezer. What started as a safe and easy case ends with a violent confrontation in San Antonio, as Jack is plunged into a world of murderous Chilean exiles in which evil masquerades as virtue, no one is who he seems to be, and all roads lead towards a shadowy figure with a haunting, nightmarish face.
