Student Workbook for Public Speaking: Concepts and Skills for a Diverse Society

Part I features a welcome letter to the student and an introductory overview about the benefits of taking a Public Speaking course. Part II features chapter-by-chapter activities, many of which are based on the text's Stop and Check activities and include scenario-based learning that facilitates both individual and group work. Chapter review self-tests with answer keys are also included. Part III features guidelines, checklists, and sample speeches representing a multitude of speech types. Speech preparation forms and checklists are formatted so they can be pulled out of the workbook and submitted.
