This collection of realistic and varied case studies offers problem-based learning materials for the study of clinical nutrition. The text focuses on the field of medical nutrition therapy while also integrating the areas of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and general medicine. Each case study is presented as a medical record and includes a patient intake form followed by appropriate laboratory reports, a narrative giving detailed patient histories, and questions to guide the student through the medical record.
