Analytical Psychology: Its Theory and Practice--The Tavistock Lectures

Hailed by The New York Review of Books as "an extremely clear, readable, and at times amusing exposition of Jung's theories," this book explores the main issues of analytical psychology. In an accessible series of lectures, Jung discusses the structure of the mind, personal and collective unconscious, archetypes, transference, and dream analysis. The founder of analytical psychology delivered this series of five lectures at London's Tavistock Institute in the fall of 1935. Beginning with an introduction to Jungian character types, he conducts an in-depth discussion of the word association test and cites specific examples of the archetypal.
