European Integration and Environmental Policy

Provides an overview of European policymaking in relation to environmental issues at a national and local level. Examines how frameworks for analysis and action, and the emergence of appropriate institutions are being managed and developed. Divided into two parts, the first examines policymaking and institutional management at the supranational level, while the second considers national and local issues and responses. Includes topics on rural/agricultural issues, acid rain, effective regulation as well as environmental pressure groups and green politics.
