Images of Savages: Ancient Roots of Modern Prejudice in Western Culture

In Images of Savages, the distinguished psychologist Gustav Jahoda advances the provocative thesis that racism and the perpetual alienation of a racialized 'other' are a central leagacy of the Western tradition.
