The fifth edition of 'Rob & Smith's Operative Surgery: Vascular Surgery' gives vascular surgeons a thoroughly modern presentation of all the operative procedures they were likely to perform. This concise version - reproducing a selection of those procedures most commonly undertaken - shares many features of that volume: high-quality medical illustrations; indications and technical analysis for each operation; attention to potential pitfalls and risks; summarized details of post-operative complications.The chapters include detailed descriptions of the surgical exposure of blood vessels, the techniques of arterial suture and anastomosis, angiography and intra-operative angiography and the intra-operative use of ultrasound.
