Appropriate for a two-semester course in business law and the legal environment, this 41-chapter version of Business Law Today: Text, Summarized Cases, Legal, Ethical, Regulatory, and International Environment, 4th contains edited cases (words of the court) and four additional chapters: Partners and Joint Ventures (Ch. 26); Additional Shareholders' Rights and Takeovers (Ch. 30); Administrative Law (Ch. 32); and Liability of Accountants and Other Professionals (Ch. 38). These chapters provide more extensive coverage of business law topics found on the Uniform AICPA exam, making this text the most appropriate BLT version for accounting majors. A CPA supplement is also available with this edition to help students review and prepare for the exam. This text explicitly meets AACSB curriculum requirements. Many features focus on the global, political, ethical, social, environmental, and cultural context of business law. For Critical Analysis questions follow all cases, and now appear within most of the pedagogical features. An appendix to Chapter 1, chapter-ending Case Briefing Assignments, and a separate text-ending appendix provide ample opportunity for students to learn how to analyze case law.
