Celtic Christianity: Making Myths and Chasing Dreams

Bradley, a Church of Scotland minister, teaches Celtic Christianity (U. of Aberdeen) but that is not his topic here. Rather he traces how the image of the Celtic Church, as it developed separately from Rome, has been appropriated and depicted by various groups for various purposes over the past 1,300 years. He identifies and describes six distinct movements from the eighth and ninth centuries to the current wave of New Age spirituality.
