A religious scholar and minister in the Church of England, Crawford argues that religion and science draw on different sources and methods to complement each other in answering such questions as why there is a world, whether it reflects the presence of God, how it came into existence, how it will end, whether God exists, whether religions have a clear view of God, and whether people can get into a personal relationship with God. He focuses on Christianity as the context in which western science developed, but also considers five other religions.
