She has worked as a community emergency physician since 2001, and moved to Bowling Green, Ohio, to pursue her PhD in Applied Philosophy at Bowling Green State University. Dr. Baker has taught Medical Ethics at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences and works clinically in five emergency departments in northwest Ohio.
