Improving College Reading

Thirty-two readings from a diversity of disciplines, including ecology, anthropologgy, sociology and science, cross cultural boundaries and hold students' interest while contributing to their general education. Readings progress in order of difficulty from level 6 on the Frye scale to the college level, with many passages at the 7th- to 11th-grade levels. Grade levels are included in the Instructor's Manual so teachers can track students' progress. A reading skills textbook which contains new and interesting reading levels accompanied by carefully designed and graded testing material.
