This new casebook offers future special education teachers authentic glimpses into the lives of real children and youth. Each case is taken from the research and personal experiences of the author and selected contributors, and grouped by topic, to emphasize the connections between topics and all aspects of emotional and behavioral disorders. None of the cases is hypothetical; each is populated by children and youth in real events. The author introduces each case and suggests questions for class discussion to further the readers understanding of the concepts presented.
