This book includes the standard matter covered in a Legal Environment of Business text including a discussion of Cyberlaw and ethical issues. The format differs, however, by including cutting edge cases, cases that have been decided in the past few years or matters involving the legal disputes of the rich and famous. For instance, a student will learn about punitive damages by reading about a case involving Whitney Houston. Domain name disputes will focus on litigation involving Madonna and Sting. The enforcement of an arbitration agreement deals with Latrell Sprewell and his assault of the head coach of the player's former basketball team.
