This book is about a feminine attribute of Deity as revealed in The Urantia Book. In general, this book, 'Our Local Universe Mother Spirit', was written for people already familiar with The Urantia Book. It is about an aspect of the third person of the Trinity, God the Spirit. The Urantia Book reveals that there are offspring of the God the Spirit, who are referred to in the feminine. Angels are an example. What is not previously known is that there are Daughters of the Infinite Spirit, also known as local universe Mother Spirits, who are Deity existing between the Trinity above, and the angels at our sides. Although angels are representatives of God the Spirit, they are not Deity. Our Mother Spirit, who is Deity, presides (along with a Son of God, who is also Deity) over our local universe, which contains about 10 million inhabited planets. She is the topic of this book. She is very influential. For example, angels are her children, she provides the 'spark' without which life would not exist, she is love applied to creature creation, and she is a representative of the God of Action. The first 59 pages of this book summarize her main attributes, including her various names, her origins and development, her ministries, her relationship to mind, her offspring, and her Deity attributes. It also discusses the family of the Infinite Spirit, of which she its a part. The remainder of the book is comprised of appendices, including references to source material in The Urantia Book, a complete list of her names, and, for the true student, a hopefully comprehensive library of quotations from The Urantia Book that refer to her.
