This book is the result of the combined efforts of well-recognized professionals who were faculty for the course "Certified Safety Professional Review" at the Harvard School of Public Health. The result is a direct straight forward coverage of the equations covering engineering, system safety, boolean algebra, noise, radiation, mechanics, electricity, heat stress, general science, trigonometry etc. as they are applied to the practice and study of occupational safety. Each equation is completely covered on one page. The equation is displayed, a useful and clear reference, all units and symbols are defined. Below the equation is a discussion of the theory and application of the equation and a example application of the equation completely worked out.
