Because humans are wired with a brain that protects and advances the material, a conflict is to be expected where religions and spirituality come together. Religions are kept alive with dogma and doctrine, pride, and hope. These are first steps toward becoming open to our spirituality. There is nothing wrong with that understanding if it does not separate one group from another. We know the outcome of my religion is better than your religion because it can result in bombings, beatings, killing, laws that describe one gender superior to another gender etc. Religion is intended to be a life preserver in a sea of material uncertainty; but my religion is better than your religion rarely draws minds into the realization of spirit presence within one cosmos where all existent life is born as conscious awareness of spirit.  An Alternate Personality declared, You have minds to open to spiritual realities - none of which any of you know anything about.  This book will not guide you into spirituality because it assumes you are already there. There is no science to back up the central theme, spirituality, because science must work with data that replicates its solutions. It seems apparent that spirituality is a dimension beyond time and space. It is infinite and eternal. I believe that leaves us with experience of spirit s work where the human ego system is not seeking members, power and local prestige; but seeking to understand the cosmos appears to have unity within a theme of universal origin.
