(These quintessential writers were unanimously selected by leaders in adult education as they displayed tendencies to participate in extracurricular projects, without knowing the exact outcome, for the sake of education or expanding knowledge.) Collectively, these memoirs exemplify the potency of community activism and partnership. As life is at least a journey through lessons over time, contributors' entries in this book are also a historical record that reveals the connections of their socially conscious "talk" to their "walk" among the students, communities, and programs to which they have given so greatly.
