Level two sees changes in the characters: Schmidt moves, spiffs up, and finds a lady friend, Anna and Carsten become friends, and the Türspinne gets lost. Oscar? Oscar is still endearing and always hungry. Beginning language students, even at the secondary level, enjoy the videos. While being an entertaining family experience for second generation German speakers, it is a great tool for the home school environment. The language is current, the characters endearing.
