Description:
Old Cuba fisherman Santiago does not catch a fish in 84 days in a row and finally catches a marlin alone. However, this fish is so big and strong that it fights with the old man in the sea for as long as three days until both are exhausting. Luckily, the old man kills the big fish and ties it at one side of his boat. Nevertheless, his boat is attacked by a shark on his way home and the big marlin becomes a skeleton. The Old Man and the Sea is a novella written by Ernest Hemingway in Cuba in 1951, one of Hemingways most famous works, winning him a Nobel Prize for literature in 1954.
