The Jews For Jesus Family Cookbook

Jews for Jesus is an evangelistic society, not a cooking school, so why did we publish a cookbook? Because our friends asked for one! Many of them wanted to know what we like to eat and what we like to cook (kosher and non-kosher!) This collection of recipes reflects the diverse personalities and backgrounds of our staff and extended family. There are recipes for everything from chicken soupto enchiladas to Russian crepes with caviar. We've spiced up these pages with a taste of Jews for Jesus history, some funny anecdotes and a word or two about some of the good cooks whose recipes we've borrowed. As you cook, and as you eat, we invite you to "taste and see that the Lord is good."
