Cliff Moughtin is Emeritus Professor of Planning at the University of Nottingham. He is a trained architect who has specialized in urban design since the 1960s. He was Professor of Planning at The Queen's University, Belfast prior to his appointment as Professor in Nottingham. Dr Taner Oc is Director of the Institute of Planning Studies at the University of Nottingham. He has taught at Middle East Technical University, The Queen's University, Belfast and the George Washington University. Steven Tiesdell is Lecturer in Planning (Urban Design) at the University of Nottingham having started his career with an architectural and planning practice in London.
