College Algebra: A Graphing Approach

This text is a presentation of the fundamentals of college algebra. It is designed to provide a solid foundation for students who will apply the mathematics in a variety of disciplines as well as for students who will continue into calculus. Students should find the writing style friendly (informal with no unnecessary notation). The text is written with the assumption that each student has daily access to a graphing utility (graphics calculator or computer with graphing software).The graphing utility is thoroughly integrated into the course and is not an optional feature. Technology is incorporated into problems, examples, and narrative. Discovery exercises, which rely on the graphing utility, are not optional.
